Buffalo tofu pizza

This was delicious, and the children in the family claimed that their favorite dish in quite a while! It was a simple vegetarian version of my buffalo chicken pizza.

Ingredients

1 portion pizza dough

buffalo sauce

ranch

ketchup

1 block firm tofu (about 15 oz)

1 tbsp corn starch

1 tbsp soy sauce

oil

mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Press the tofu. Pet tdy and cut into thin slivers. Pat dry again.

Preheat a large teflon pan on high with 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil. Toss the tofu pieces with corn starch. Sear until all sides are crispy and browned. High heat is critical here! Toss with soy sauce.

Toss with 2-3 tbsp ketchup and 2 tbsp buffalo sauce.

Press the pizza dough into a pizza shape. Spread with ranch. Sprinkle tofu pieces on top. Spread with mozzarella.

Bake at 425F until cheese is light brown and bubbly.

Remove from oven and drizzle with more buffalo sauce.
