So many flavors, so many possibilities! These lazy oats won over our entire family, as I indulged in exploring flavors from Snickers to carrot cake, peanut butter and jelly to chocolate and banana. Everyone loved these, and with the addition of chia seeds, they were a perfect, filling breakfast.
Ingredients
120g quick oats
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp peanut butter
0.25 cup raisins
2 tbsp maple syrup
pinch of salt
500mL milk of choice
2 tbso chocolate chips
Preparation
Mix the oats, chia, salt, and cocoa powder. Add in about a third of the milk, and stir until well-bended.
Mix in the remaining milk, raisins, syrup (optional).
Layer into jars with melted peanut butter. Just microwave the peanut butter for a bit. For more calories, just add a little more peanut butter to the selected serving.
Top with melted dark chocolate chips.
Allow to sit overnight in the fridge. Serve the next morning!
