Pie crust

A pie crust recipe that works exceedingly well and results in delicious, flaky, yet hearty baked products.

Ingredients

0.5 cup ice water

1 tsp vinegar

280g flour

15g tapioca starch

1 tsp salt

25g sugar

12 tbsp butter (166g)

Preparation

Mix the dry ingredients. 

Cut in the cold butter with a pastry cutter quickly.

Pour in the ice water mixed with vinegar and stir until the dough comes together.

Form into two small discs and coat with a little flour and plastic wrap. Refrigerate before using!
