Donut muffins




Reminiscent of the classic, slightly sweet baked donuts, these muffins are a perfect breakfast treat to pair with your morning coffee. Easy to prepare, it will delight adults and children both!

Ingredients

4 tbsp butter

0.25 cup oil

1/3 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1.5 tsp baking powder

0.25 tsp baking soda

1.25 tsp nutmeg

0.5 tsp salt

1tsp vanilla extract 

320g flour

1 cup milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with silicone liners.

Mix softened butter, oil, and sugar. Add eggs one at a time.

Stir in baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla.

Stir in flour alternating with the milk. Spoon into prepared pan and bake for around 15 minutes, until center is cooked.

Melt 3 tbsp butter and brush muffin tops with it. Roll tops in cinnamon sugar. Serve!
