Hungarian cheese snacks

These are a New Year's classic. Filled with cheesy goodness inside and out! I recommend letting them cool for 30 minutes before eating. Delicious with Macedonian salad!

Ingredients

125g butter

75g shredded cheddar

250g flour

1 egg

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

100mL sour cream

Preparation

Cut the butter into the flour. Mix in the shredded cheese, baking powder, and salt. Blend in the egg and sour cream until it comes together into a ball.

Wrap tightly and refrigerate for 2-12 hours. Roll out on a floured surface and sprinkle with additional cheese.

Using a pizza cutter cut into desired shapes. Bake in a preheated 425F oven until golden brown! Cool on cookie rack.
