A vegetarian alternative to the delicious Chinese takout favorite. Easy to make, flavorful, and healthy!
Ingredients
1 large head of cauliflower
0.5 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup water
0.25 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp powdered ginger
3 tbsp starch
Preparation
Preheat oven to 450F. Pull the cauliflower into florets. Roast until browned.
Mix the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients, and pour into a pot. Bring to a simmer and pour onto the cauliflower florets. Toss well and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Serve over rice!
