Stromboli

This was declared to be multiple people's new favorite food. I highly recommend preparing it.

Ingredients
1 tsp honey
1.5 tsp yeast
2 cups flour
0.5 cup plus 2-3 tbsp water
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt

1/3 pound Genoa salami
1/3 pound hot ham (capicola)
1/3 pound Provolone
1 cup shredded mozzarella
0.5 cup roasted pepper strips
2-3 tbsp capers

Preparation
Bloom the yeast with a portion of the water and the honey. Add the remaining water and the oil. Mix in the flour and salt and knead until smooth dough forms. Allow to rise for 40 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400F. Line a 13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the dough to be 13-inch-long and a quarter inch thick. Layer the thin-sliced salami on top.

Top with provolone slices, then the ham. Finally sprinkle with shredded mozzarella (reserve a little), pepper slices, and the capers.

Roll up and seal the ends. Place onto the baking sheet. Cut diagonal slits in the top. Sprinkle with the mozzarella you set aside. Bake for 15 minutes.

Lower heat to 375F and bake for another 25 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving with a marinara dipping sauce.
