Sticky buns

These were so delicious that I ended up eating half a batch by myself for breakfast. It is questionable, whether that is a good thing...

Ingredients
rolls:
0.25 cup warm water
1.5 tsp yeast
2 tbsp sugar
0.25 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
1 egg
0.5 tsp salt
2-2.25 cups flour

filling:
0.25 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1.5 tbsp butter

sauce:
0.25 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp white sugar
2 tbsp honey
optional: 0.5 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation
Bloom the yeast with the sugar and the water. Add in the milk, melted butter, egg, salt, and half the flour. Mix well.

Add in the remaining flour and knead for 5 minutes. Set aside in a lightly oiled bowl.

Mix the brown sugar with the cinnamon for the filling. Measure out all the ingredients for the sauce in a pot, except for the nuts. Grease a 9x11 inch baking shape.

Roll out the dough after it doubled in size. Spread the melted butter on top. Sprinkle with the cinnamon filling. Roll up tightly. Cut into eight rolls.

Heat the sauce mixture until the sugar and butter melt. Pour into baking shape. Sprinkle on walnuts if desired. Arrange rolls on top and cover with foil. Place in the fridge overnight.

The next day, remove the rolls from the fridge. Preheat the oven to 375F. Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Invert onto a serving platter while still warm.
