Roasted cabbage


An outstanding and more exciting side dish for St Patrick's day...or really just to snack on any day of the year.

Ingredients
0.5 medium head of cabbage
olive oil
pepper flakes
salt
garlic powder

Preparation
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil (for easier cleanup). Preheat oven to 450F.


Cut the cabbage half into quarters, leaving the core in to hold the leaves together. Spray all sides of each piece with olive oil.

Sprinkle all sides with salt, pepper flakes, and garlic powder. Place onto baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes covered. Remove the cover and bake for another 15 minutes, until edges are charred. Serve warm!
