Spicy cabbage soup

I have been enthusiastically consuming bowls of this soup daily for the last week. The last serving today was still absolutely satisfying. 

Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small yellow onion
2 carrots
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp hot paprika
0.25 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp oregano
8 oz tomato sauce
16 oz diced tomatoes
16 oz canned white beans
half a head of shredded cabbage
water
salt
1 tbsp harissa
optional: green beans, brussels sprouts

Preparation
Sautee the diced onion on the olive oil. Add the garlic and cook for a minute. Add the spices and cook for 30 seconds.

Pour in the canned tomatoes, the beans, add the shredded cabbage and other optional veggies. Add the diced carrots. Add enough water to cover the veggies an inch deep. Add the harissa.

Cook for 20 minutes, season with salt and black pepper.
