A Hungarian fresh pasta type, nokedli is similar to the german spaetzel and vaguely resembles the Italian gnocchi. It's delicious, with a slight chew, perfect with a tasty sauce!
Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 eggs
0.5 cup water
0.5 tsp salt
Preparation
Mix the flour with the salt. Add in the eggs and half of the water, and stir with a fork.
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Place your nokedli cutter over it. Scoop cupfuls of the batter onto the cutter and press through.
Scoop out the nokedli with a strainer. Serve with a tasty goulash!
