Brioche bread pudding


This specific recipe used a loaf of discounted chocolate-chip brioche. It was amazing, perfect on top of a mountain, after a burger seared over my portable  little stove. A luxurious meal in a backpack!

Ingredients
5 cups of cubed brioche bread
1/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
salt
butter

Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F. Butter a 9-inch pie pan.


Dice the bread. Whisk the eggs with the sugar and mix with the milk and vanilla.

Soak the bread cubes in the egg mix for about 10 minutes.


Arrange bread mix into pie shape. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until set. Serve cool!
