Sausage and broccoli pasta


A quick and delicious dinner, made more interesting by fun pasta choices.

Ingredients
6oz pasta
3 hot Italian sausage links
1 head of broccoli
2 oz parmesan
0.5 tsp papper flakes
2 cloves garlic
0.5 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation
This serves two. Remove the sausage filling from the skins. Preheat a skillet with 1 tbsp olive oil. Add the sausage and break up into bite-size pieces.
Brown well. Remove most of the fat from the pan.

In a separate bowl cook pasta according to package instructions.


Add the pepper flakes and minced garlic to the sausage pan. Cook for 30 seconds. Add broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the broth and finish cooking the broccoli until still a little crisp.

Drain and toss pasta into sausage and broccoli mix. Plate and shred fresh Parmesan on top.
