Maple grits

A wonderful union of North and South.

1.25 cup milk
0.25 cup grits
0.25 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup

Mix the grits with the salt and sugar. Add the milk and cook for about 10 minutes, or until thickened.

Serve with a drizzling of maple syrup and fresh berries.
