Hungarian poppy seed noodles

One of my all time favorites. My grandmother used to make these and toss the noodles in lard before sprinkling them with ample ground poppy seed and sugar.

Ingredients
pasta:
300g flour
1 egg
water
salt

topping:
150g ground poppy seeds
sugar
butter

Preparation
Prepare the pasta, as described here. This one is a less brittle, more dumplingy pasta, due to the higher flour to egg ratio.

Cook the pasta and toss with melted butter. Mix with loads of ground poppy seeds and icing sugar. Soooo good!
