BBQ chicken calzone II

The scent of these is unbelievable. Otherwise, these were tasty, not too sweet, slightly tangy: but a lot depends on your pick of BBQ sauce. My choice was Bulls-eye original, as I found it not too sweet and slightly spicy.

Ingredients
1 portion pizza dough
1 baked chicken breast
4 strips of bacon
0.25 cup chopped onions
0.25 tsp garlic powder
0.5 tsp dried oregano
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
6 oz mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup BBQ sauce

Preparation
Dice the chicken. Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove from pan, crumble. Drain grease from pan, add the onions and cook for 1-2 minutes to take the edge off. Add back the bacon and add in the diced chicken. Heat together and when warmed through, add the BBQ sauce.

Cut the pizza dough in half and stretch each piece into a circle. Add the filling to one half of the circle, leaving the edges free. Fold over the other half and seal. Poke 2-3 small holes in the top using a knife. Repeat with other piece of dough.

Brush top with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with garlic powder. Bake in a 425F preheated oven until golden brown. Remove onto cookie racks and brush with olive oil while still warm. This will give the calzones and nice, shiny look. Sprinkle with oregano. Serve!
