Not overwhelmingly sweet, slightly tangy, crisp wings.
2.5 lb chicken wings
1.5 tbsp Frank's hot sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
0.5 cup flour
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp grated ginger
0.5 tbsp Sriracha hot sauce
0.25 cup rice vinegar
0.25 cup brown sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
Toss chicken wings with hot sauce, salt, black pepper and oil. Place into a Ziplock bag with the flour in it. Shake until coated.
Spray a cooking sheet with oil, distribute the chicken wings on it evenly. Spray the top of the chicken wings again. Bake at 400F for 30 minutes, turn, and bake for a further 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, mince the garlic and add to a small sauce pan. Add all the other ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring.
When the chicken wings are done, toss them with the sauce. Allow to cool a bit and serve!
