Ham and cheese omlette

A super simple breakfast. A typical example of how less can be more: if you wish to elegantly roll this up, you must create a very thin layer of egg.

Ingredients
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
0.25 tsp salt
1 slice of ham
1 oz cheddar cheese

Preparation
Whip the egg then add the milk and salt. Beat again for a while.

Preheat a 9 inch, heavy, non-stick pan over medium-low heat, brush with a little bit of oil (just to be safe). Pour in the egg mixture and distribute by swirling the pan around. Return to heat.

Meanwhile, you can prepare the filling. Slice the ham and shred the cheese. The ham can be pre-browned to make for an even tastier meal.

Flip the egg layer and sprinkle with the cheese and ham. Roll up and garnish with a little more cheese. Serve with nice, crusty bread.
