Spinach tomato soup

Another quick recipe, best served with garlic bread.

Ingredients
4 cloves of garlic
1 small yellow onion
1 can 28oz crushed tomato
1 can 14.5 oz diced tomato
8 oz cut spinach leaves
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tsp black pepper
0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
salt to taste
1 tbsp sugar
optional, thin sliced beef

Preparation
Dice the onion and mince the garlic.

Saute the onion in the oil until translucent. Add the garlic for 30 seconds, then add the black pepper and cayenne and heat together for 30 seconds, stirring.

At this point add the beef and cook, if you wish to include beef.

After the beef is cooked, or immediately after the spices are heated through: add the broth and the tomatoes, as well as the sugar.

Salt to taste and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the spinach and bring to a boil again. Boil for 5 more minutes. Serve!
