Asparagus ham puff with Hollandaise sauce

A not-so-light breakfast or brunch, that I will have to make many times again.

Ingredients
1 cup water
0.5 cup butter
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp black pepper
1 cup flour
1 cup freshly shredded cheddar
4 eggs
1 pound asparagus
0.25 pound ham steak
0.5 cup Hollandaise sauce

Preparation
Bring the water, salt and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Add the flour and cheese and cook until it comes together into a ball.

Allow to cool for about 5 minutes, then stir in the eggs one by one, until the dough is smooth and shiny after each egg.

Press into a buttered 10 inch pie shape.

Bake at 375F for 30 minutes, or until puffed up and golden brown.

Meanwhile, roast the asparagus at 375F for 10 minutes, and brown the ham steak in a little bit of butter.

When the puff is done, remove it from the oven and fill the with asparagus spears and the chopped ham. Drizzle with Hollandaise sauce.

I think I wasn't a huge fan of plain Hollandaise sauce on this, so I added a little bit of hot sauce to it.
